How to Vote

  1. Go to the Vote Tab which should bring you to Group Fan N Star Choice

  2. Tap the Vote button next to SEVENTEEN

  3. Input your number of votes.

  4. Tap on Vote

  5. Confirm your vote with OK

  • Your daily voting rights depend on your rank

  • Your daily voting rights expire at the end of the day (11:59PM KST) so it is recommended you drop all within the day.

  • Come back daily to maximize your daily voting rights

  • See the next section to learn how to get additional voting rights

How to Get Additional Voting Rights

You can get additional voting rights by performing additional tasks

Complete Daily Mission

  1. Attendance

  2. View Articles (30) (See Guide)

  3. Post Recommendation (10) (See Guide)

  4. Spin Roulette: You can spin the roulette after completing Daily Missions for additional voting rights

Time Event

Participate in the Time Event up to twice daily to get additional voting rights each time. (See Guide)

  • English: 9:30AM & 10:50PM KST

  • Korean/Japanese/Vietnamese: 12:45PM & 6:30PM KST

  • Chinese: 1:40PM & 7:30PM KST

Fanbership

You can subscribe to the TMA Fanbership by going to the Fan N Star Web App. The membership costs $4.50 per month

Creating an Account

Follow the instructions below to create your account after downloading the Fan N Star mobile app.

  1. Open the app and tap on the STAR icon (upper right)

  2. Log in using Facebook, Kakao, Line, Google, or Twitter

  3. Take note of the Multiple Account Policy

  4. Enter a nickname and tap the CHECK button

  5. Agree to the Terms & Agreements

  6. Enter the CAPTCHA then CONFIRM

  7. Tap on Next

  8. Select your Idol by searching for SEVENTEEN and confirm with OK

How to Change Language

If you opt to change the language display on your app, follow the instructions below.

  1. Go to Home

  2. Tap on the Hamburger Menu (3 lines) on the upper left

  3. Tap on the Globe icon

  4. Select a language from the list
    Korean
    Japanese
    Chinese
    English
    Vietnamese

Participate in Birthday Voting

Follow the instructions below for the different methods of voting for birthday ads for a SEVENTEEN member.

  1. Tap on the Calendar icon (3rd tab)

  2. Tap on Birthday Vote

  3. Alternatively: Vote icon (2nd tab) > Birthday/Thema > Birthday Vote

Method 01: Watch Video Ads

Tap on the Play button on the member's photo. Watch an ad for a direct vote (50 votes)

  • You can watch 40 ads per day with a 10 minute interval between each one

  • 40 ads x 50 votes = 2000 votes/day

  • Video ads normally runs for 5-30 seconds each

Method 02: Vote with Yellow Stars

Tap on the Vote button and enter the amount of Yellow Stars you want to use. Tap on OK when you're done.

  • Vote at least 200 yellow stars daily to earn 4G+ Points

  • Vote limit is at 1000 yellow stars/day

Collecting Stars

There are several methods for collecting Yellow Stars and Rainbow Stars on Fan N Star. You can do all of below or only choose what works best for you.

Attendance

1 Star & 1G+ Point

  1. Tap on the Star Tower and then Get Stamp

  2. Answer the quiz. You can keep guessing until you get the right answer. (Hint: Usually the answer is O or #2)

View Articles

Up to 150 Stars & 2G+ Points

  1. In the Star Tower tab, tap on Articles

  2. Tap on the first article in the list

  3. In the article, scroll down and tap on the Claim button

  4. Tap on the Next Article button to go to the next article

  5. Repeat steps 3-4 until done

  • You can view articles in different languages: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, English, Vietnamese

  • For each language, you can view and collect with 30 articles

  • 5 languages x 30 articles = 150 stars

Post Recommendation

10 Stars & 2G+ Points

  1. Tap the Smiley icon

  2. Select any post

  3. Tap on the Like button and receive 1 Star

  • You can only like 10 posts per day

Photo Talk

1 Star/day/poll & 1G+ Point

  1. Tap the Smiley icon

  2. Select any ongoing poll (red indicator)

  3. Select Find My Singer (Ex. WONWOO or SEVENTEEN)

  4. Tap on Like and receive 1 Star

  5. Tap the (+) icon and attach a photo to receive 1G+ Point

Roulette Event

Korean language only

  1. Change language to Korean

  2. From the Hamburger Menu (3 lines), tap on Event (Bag with Heart icon)

  3. Tap on the Roulette Event (Orange banner)

  4. Tap Go in the wheel and you can receive stars (5, 10, 50, 100)

  • The number of free spins you get depends on your rank: Green (1), Bronze (2), Silver(3), Gold(4), and Black(5)

  • DO NOT use stars to spin again. It is better to save it instead.

  • There is also a roulette for Rainbow Stars (button on right)

Hidden Yellow Star

Korean language only

  1. Change language to Korean

  2. In the Star Tower tab, tap on Articles

  3. In the Articles section, tap on the first article

  4. Scroll down and look for the faded star icon before the comment section

  5. Tap this icon and receive 10 stars

  • You can only claim this once per day

Time Event

100 Stars & 2G+ Points

  1. Tap on the Clock icon in the Home tab

  2. Tap on the Red Button, watch ads, and receive 50 stars

  • Time Event is open for 1 hour only

  • 2 Time Events per day

  • English: 9:30AM & 10:50PM KST

  • Korean/Japanese/Vietnamese: 12:45PM & 6:30PM KST

  • Chinese: 1:40PM & 7:30PM KST

Spawn Missions

  1. Change language to Korean

  2. In your Profile, go to the Daily Stars section

  3. The bottom 2 tasks are the Spawn Missions. Click on the Go or orange button to proceed

  4. For the first Spawn Mission, click on the black button to collect 10 Yellow Stars.

  5. For the second Spawn Mission, you can watch 3 ads and earn 5 Yellow Stars each. You must watch this in order (left to right).

  • Your language must be set to Korean to see all Spawn Missions

  • You can do these tasks daily

Rainbow Stars

  1. In the Star Tower tab, go to the Free Stars section

  2. Tap on the #1 Free Star button

  3. Do missions with Tapjoy

You can also earn 50 Rainbow Stars if your post gets more likes and is voted BEST

  • Rainbow Stars are used for birthday projects (Ex. Wonwoo Birthday Project)

  • Yellow Stars expire 15 days from acquisition date

  • Rainbow Stars expire 1 year from the date you received it

G+ Points

Increase and earn G+ Points to increase your rank for TMA

  • Complete the daily missions and earn up to 16G+ Points (excludes Free Stars, Best Post, Market Votes, and Fanbership)

  • Rank up as early as now

  • The higher your rank, more voting rights you will have

  • Higher rank also means more spins for the Roulette during the voting event

Spawn Missions

  1. Change language to Korean

  2. In your Profile, go to the Daily Stars section

  3. The last task are the Spawn Mission 2. Click on the Go or orange button to proceed

  4. You can watch 3 ads and earn 2 G+ Points each. You must watch this in order (left to right).

  • Your language must be set to Korean to see all Spawn Missions

  • You can do these tasks daily
